Meet the Co-Founders of Expera, LLC
Formerly known as Career Readiness Report, Expera, LLC is led by two passionate co-founders committed to redefining how colleges and universities prepare students for successful, fulfilling careers.

Kevin Champlin
CEO and Co-Founder
Kevin Champlin is a lifelong programmer, systems administrator, and entrepreneur who has been building web-based solutions for over two decades. A proud college graduate with a background in programming and IT systems management, Kevin started his career creating websites and enterprise tools before moving into professional roles as a .NET developer and systems analyst. His experience spans development, server administration, and digital strategy, giving him a full-stack perspective on building scalable technology platforms. Kevin is the original architect and developer of the Career Readiness Report, which evolved into today’s Expera platform — a powerful tool designed to help colleges and universities measure, manage, and improve student career readiness outcomes.
At Expera, Kevin’s core focus is creating systems that prioritize transparency, clarity, and communication between institutions and their students. Having seen firsthand how unclear reporting and outdated technology can hold back student success, he is committed to designing software that empowers both administrators and learners with the information they need to thrive. Kevin brings a relentless passion for clean, efficient development and a deep belief that technology should make life easier, not harder — values that continue to shape Expera’s future.
